Maintenance Tips
  • Clean After Every Use – Remove metal shavings, dust, and debris from the bending area to prevent scratches and misalignment.
  • Lubricate Moving Parts – Apply light machine oil to pivot points, threads, and contact surfaces to reduce friction and wear.
  • Inspect for Wear or Damage – Check bending dies, pins, and bolts for cracks, deformation, or rounding to maintain precise bends.
  • Tighten Bolts & Fasteners – Ensure all hardware is secure to prevent misalignment under heavy bending loads.
  • Check Alignment Regularly – Verify bending die and arm alignment to ensure consistent, accurate angles.
  • Store in a Dry Environment – Protect against rust and corrosion when not in use by keeping it clean and covered.
  • Follow Material Capacity Limits – Avoid exceeding the rated tonnage or material thickness to prevent tool damage and maintain bend quality.
