Maintenance Tips
  • Rinse & Clean Regularly: Wash bowl and seat with fresh water and a mild, marine‑safe cleaner to prevent stains and buildup; avoid abrasive harsh chemicals.
  • Run Fresh Water Flushes: Periodically run fresh water through the system even when not in heavy use to clear hoses and reduce odors.
  • Inspect Seals & Hoses: Check inlet/outlet hoses, clamps, and seacocks for cracks, wear, or leaks; replace any brittle or damaged parts promptly.
  • Check Electrical Connections: Ensure 12 V wiring, connectors, and the 3‑function control panel are clean, secure, and corrosion‑free for consistent operation.
  • Macerator/Pump Care: Confirm the pump and macerator cycle function smoothly; clear any debris and check for unusually loud operation.
  • Protect Against Corrosion: Wipe dry after cleaning, especially around metal mounts and hinges, and apply a light corrosion inhibitor before storage.
  • Use Marine‑Safe Toilet Paper: Choose toilet paper that dissolves easily to reduce clogs and prolong pump life.
