Rinse the wetsuit inside and out with cool, fresh water immediately after each dive to remove salt, sand, chlorine and body oils, which can degrade neoprene and seams over time. Salt and debris especially collect at cuffs and seams.
Occasional Deep Clean
Every few uses, soak in a tub of cool water with a wetsuitâsafe cleaner or mild neoprene shampoo to remove oils, odors and buildup; gently squeeze rather than wring.
Drying & Storage
Hang the suit on a wide hanger in a shaded, ventilated area until fully dry. First dry insideâout, then outside, to prevent mildew. Avoid direct sunlight and heat â UV and high heat damage neoprene and reduce flexibility.
Store completely dry in a cool, dry place. Avoid tight folding or compression which can create creases and weaken material.
Handle with Care
Put on and remove the wetsuit gently to avoid overstretching seams or tearing the neoprene; keep fingernails short and avoid sharp objects.
Zipper & Seam Check
Rinse and operate the zipper before drying to remove grit. Inspect seams and highâstress areas regularly; repair small tears with neoprene glue to extend suit life
