VENTAHOOD BH346PSLDSS 46 3/8" 900 CFM Wall Mount Liner Insert in Stainless Steel - BH346PSLDSS

The extra size and blower capacity of the BHPSLD model can be used above professional-style cooking equipment. Click on the models for a list of our base model numbers for standard sizes; simply select the model you need, and then specify the finish [painted or stainless steel]. All liners in this series are 22 1/2" deep. Recommended mounting height is 27" - 30" above the cooking surface. All Vent-A-Hood products are suitable for use in damp locations [outdoor applications such as a covered patio] when installed in a GFCI protected branch circuit.

What our Experts Think
  • Powerful & Efficient Ventilation
Equipped with a 900 CFM Magic Lung® filter‑less blower, this liner provides strong, high‑capacity air extraction ideal for larger cooktops and frequent cooking.

  • Patented Filter‑Less Design
Experts like the centrifugal filtration for capturing grease without traditional mesh/baffle filters — easier to clean and maintain long‑term.

  • Quiet & Comfortable Operation
Engineered to be quietest at all speeds, helping keep kitchen noise down even on higher power settings.

  • Smart Heat Response & Safety
SensaSource heat detection automatically adjusts blower power as cooking heat rises. Inherently fire‑safe design adds peace of mind.

  • Built‑In Lighting & Installation Ease
Includes three lights to illuminate cooking surfaces and is designed for straightforward integration into custom hood builds with recommended mounting heights.

  • Performance Positioning
Not ENERGY STAR rated, but excellent for serious home cooks and mid‑ to high‑performance kitchens prioritizing suction power, low noise, and minimal filter upkee

Maintenance Tips
  • Weekly Surface Clean: Wipe stainless steel with warm water, mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry thoroughly to avoid water spots.

  • Prevent Grease Buildup: Clean the interior liner regularly to maintain optimal airflow and performance.

  • Filter Maintenance: Remove and wash grease filters often (dishwasher safe if applicable) to support the 900 CFM extraction power.

  • Avoid Harsh Tools & Chemicals: Do not use abrasive pads, steel wool, bleach, or strong cleaners that can scratch or dull the finish.

  • Polish Gently: Occasionally apply a non‑abrasive stainless‑steel cleaner, wiping with the grain for enhanced shine.

  • Safety First: Turn off power and ensure the unit is cool before performing maintenance.
